For too long, environmentalism has been predicated on the assumption that we are separate from the natural world. Even the Leave No Trace principle, while necessary in some contexts, reinforces the idea that we must refrain from interacting with our environment.

Our future on Earth depends on our ability to come back to Her. In this attention economy, the most precious resource you have is your own mind. In directing my thoughts towards the forests around me, I have found peace and reprieve from the hardships of modern life. I have found salvation in the woods. Support in the woods. Guidance, joy, connection and bliss in the woods. My print club seeks to encourage this experience for all of us. For $8 a month, receive a 5x8 print each month of a colored pencil drawing inspired by- and made during- my time among the trees. You will also receive a letter exploring one way that I’m taking guidance and inspiration from plants and animals and applying them to my own personal life. You will get to know me as your pen pal, and be inspired to tap in to a web of inspiration  that only comes from communion with the natural world.
